To send mass text messages, Two-Way Texting must be enabled.
By accessing or using the Mass Texting tool, you are agreeing to our Terms of Service.
Mass Texting allows you to send text messages to all customers or groups of customers simultaneously.
Send a mass text message
1. To send a mass text, hover over the Email, Txt & Print tab and click Text Messages.
2. Click the Send Mass Text Message button.
3. Select the group to which you want to send the message from the Send to dropdown menu.
4. Type your message in the Message field.
5. Click Send Mass Text Message when you are ready to send the message.
View your sent mass text messages
From the Text Messages page, click the Mass Texts tab.
You’ll see sent messages, who sent them, when they were sent, and how many messages are delivered/pending/undelivered.
Please note that it may take a few minutes for messages to be sent. It is also possible for messages to get stuck in the Pending Status. However, this doesn’t necessarily mean that the message wasn’t delivered; your software may just not have received a notice that it was delivered.
To see why messages are undelivered, click the number of undelivered messages.
Then, click the name of the customer you want to view to be taken to the customer’s profile.
You can check whether the phone number is incorrect or the customer has opted out of text messaging. If the customer has opted out, you will see an X next to their phone number.
Texting limit
There is a monthly limit on the number of messages you can send. You’ll see the limit on your Text Message page. You will be charged $.02 for every additional text message you send over that limit. Any overage charges you incur will be added to your next month's bill.
When you send a text message, you’ll see a warning if the message will put you over your limit.
After clicking Send Mass Text Message, you will also see a warning if the message will put you over the limit. Click Ok if you want to proceed.
