⚠️ Our support team can help you initially set up your Site Map during your Software Setup. If your map needs to be changed (e.g. you add units or buildings), you will need to update the map yourself by following the instructions below.
Please note: Editing the Site Map isn't supported on mobile devices.
Navigate to Units > Site Map > Click Edit Layout in the top right corner.
Placing units on the map
At the left of the site map, you will see boxes (your units) with a unit number in them. Drag those boxes onto the site map and position them according to your facility. You can drag several on at a time by clicking on one unit, holding down shift on your keyboard, and clicking the other units.
Don't see any units? You need to create them before you can place them on your map. Go to Units > Unit Types and make your sizes. Then Units > New Unit > Create your individual units.
Increasing the Site Map Size
You can increase the size of the map from the right and from the bottom. You may need to zoom out your screen in order to reach the edges.
Positioning units
Horizontal and Vertical Arrow Buttons
You can horizontally or vertically align units by highlighting both units using SHIFT and clicking the horizontal or vertical arrow.
Rotating Units
You can rotate units to position them at an angle using the rotate units button.
Changing text Direction
Click the A arrow buttons to change the direction of the unit name.
If you want to better align the units as you place them, click the grid button.
Erasing Units
If you need to delete units, you can select them using SHIFT, or you can click the button below to select them all at once. Then click the eraser button to remove the selected units.
Adding Labels
Labels can be used to identify non-unit spaces, like bathrooms, offices, roads, or landmarks and other buildings not related to rentals on your property. To create a label, set your font size and color and type your label into the empty white box at the top of the edit site map page. Once you have your label created, click the "Add" button to add that label to the map. It will drop the label into the center of the map where you can pick it up and move it around.
View unit and tenant information from the map
Once your map is created, you can see the size, who is currently renting the unit, the customer's phone number, the customer's current balance, and any unit notes (unit, not customer notes, up to 250 characters) by hovering your mouse over the a unit.
