Stor-guard Gate Integration

Step 1. Go into your Easy Storage solutions website and install the Gate Sync Program

Step 2. When setting up your Gate Sync Program, make sure to put your facility code in. The facility code can be found at the bottom of your "Gate" page in the ESS software, SETUP>Gate. Also, when setting up your ESS Gate Sync Settings make sure to put the file path for the "save file" section looks like this: IT MIGHT BE C:\CSTECH\Accessplus\lock.dat ON SOME COMPUTERS.

Step 3. Once you have installed the Evolution program, go into "Technician" and click on "Features" and then in the self storage section of the page check the box that says "Allow Area/Input Importing" and make sure the rest of the page looks like this:

Once all of these steps are complete, the Evolution program will auto-update every time a new lock.dat files gets dumped into the Evolution folder 

The Access Plus system should already have this option selected, and it should automatically look for the lock.dat file. 


Additional Notes Stor-guard allows duplicate codes, and blank codes
Found an error with John... There was a name that had a comma in the name and it caused the CSV file for that specific row for that tenant name to shift which made it so the tenant had a 0 time zone which resulted in the tenant being locked out.

Stor-guard will automatically add a one to the time-zone so if you are using time-zone 1 leave the Time-zone blank in the Easy Storage software.

Evolution needs to remain running to sync properly. Don't close it.
