Follow the instructions below to add someone to the Waiting List:
1. Click the Reports tab.
2. Under the Customers section, click Waiting List.
3. Click the Add Tenant to Waiting List button in the top right.
4. A new screen will appear where you can select the customer, the desired unit, and the desired move-in date. You can also opt to create a new customer if you haven't created a profile for this customer yet.
Troubleshooting
Every time I click save, the customer's name changes to another customer.
The reason it is changing is because you already have that email address saved on another customer's page in the software. The system does not allow two customers to have the same email, so you will need to put a different email in, in order to save the customer to the waiting list.
My customer doesn't have an email address. How do I save?
You will need to create the customer account and add them to the waiting list from the management side of the software. From Customers > New Customer > Enter the customer information that you do have, including an alternative contact method for when a unit becomes available. Save the customer profile. Once the profile has been created, you will go to Customers > Waiting List > Upper right hand corner, choose the option to Add Tenant to Waiting List.
On the next page, choose Existing Tenant and use the drop down menu to select the tenant that you are adding to the waiting list, fill in the rest of the form, and click Add to waiting list to save your entry.
