Once a customer reserves a unit online, it must be completed and turned into a rental on the manager side of the software. A list of all of your customers with pending reservations will be displayed on the Dashboard as a pending task, or you can find a list of all the current reservations under Customers > Reservations.
1. Once a customer reserves online, you will receive a notification on your dashboard informing you of the reservation.
PRO TIP: Until you click Approve, you will be unable to complete or cancel the reservation. Note how on the customer's page, once you click approve, you will have the ability to make changes to the reservation.
Before Approval:
After Approval:
Even when you reach the desired move-in date, the customer will not be able to complete the process of moving into the unit until you manually complete the reservation.
2. You can see all your reservations at once by going to Customers > Reservations.
3. Use this list to monitor pending reservations, or click on the customer's name to access their profile and complete the reservation. The reservations list can be formatted for printing and sorted by reservation date, move in date, or unit name/number.
4. To complete the reservation, go to the customer's profile and click the option to "Complete" the reservation (this will rent the unit to the customer) or "Cancel" to release the unit and make it available.
5. Completing the Reservation will take you to a page where you choose billing options for the customer, and finalize the rental.
Cancelling the Reservation removes it from the tenants account and makes the unit available to rent for other potential tenants. It does NOT issue a refund. If you would like to refund the reservation fee on a cancelled reservation, that must be taken care of separately.
