How do I set up a reservation fee?

You can setup a reservation fee in the software so that the system charges the customer a one time reservation fee when they reserve a unit online or in the office. Their fee will be applied towards the customer's first months rent, setup fee, and deposit once the reservation has been completed and turned into a rental.

Add a reservation fee to a Unit

1. Under the Units drop down, select Unit Types.

2. Click Edit to the far right of the desired unit type (if you want all units to have a reservation fee, you will need to complete this process separately for each unit type).

3. In the Reservation Price section, input your desired reservation amount then click Update at the bottom. This amount will be applied to the customer's first months rent and deposit once the rental is completed. 

4.  On your website, you will now see a price associated with the reservation.

When the tenant clicks to reserve, they will see a message that the reservation fee will be applied towards a rental deposit or invoice.
