Note: The system will NOT automatically move someone out on the scheduled move out date. You must do that manually.
Follow the instruction below to finalize or cancel a scheduled move-out. You can read more about move-out request settings in our article: Customer scheduled move-outs.
1. Log in to your Easy Storage Solutions account.
2. Navigate to the Customer page for the tenant who has a scheduled move-out.
3. From the Rentals section of the page, you can finalize, cancel, or edit the scheduled move-out.
- The Edit button will allow you to change the date of the move-out.
- The Finalize Move Out button will allow you to finalize the move-out right now.
- The Cancel button will cancel the scheduled move-out.
When moving a customer out, we recommend the following:
- Pause or Delete the Recurring Billing Payment Account (To avoid charges on a customer account, if invoices were not voided).
- Void any outstanding invoices (To avoid reports showing outstanding balances. If the move-out is finalized before the current invoice due date the software will automatically void the invoice.)
- Archive the customer's profile (Edit Profile>Archive Customer, archiving is an option also available during the move-out process).
