ESS customers located in Canada have two options for payment processing: Moneris or Authorize.net
Below you will find the information ESS Support needs in order to integrate the payment processing account.
To integrate either of the payment processors you will go to Setup - Payment Process - choose Moneris or Auth.net and enter information listed below.
Moneris
You will need the following information from Moneris:
API Token - This has to be directly asked for, it is not something that is available in your Moneris account.
Store/Site ID - This always starts with gwca
Authorize.net
⚠️ To successfully integrate Auth.net the Auth.net account has to be an e-commerce/card not present account. It can not be set up as a retail/card present account.
To enter your Authorize.net payment gateway you will need to get an API Login and API Password. To get these two numbers follow these instructions:
How do I obtain my API Login ID and Transaction Key?
To obtain the API Login ID and Transaction Key:
- Log into the Merchant Interface.
- Click Account from the main toolbar.
- Click Settings in the main left-side menu.
- Click API Credentials & Keys.
- Select New Transaction Key.
- Note: When obtaining a new Transaction Key, you may choose to disable the old Transaction Key by clicking the box titled, Disable Old Transaction Key Immediately. You may want to do this if you suspect your previous Transaction Key is being used fraudulently.
- Click Submit to continue.
- Request and enter PIN for verification.
- Your new Transaction Key is displayed.
If the Disable Old Transaction Key Immediately box is not checked, the old Transaction Key will automatically expire in 24 hours. When the box is checked, the Transaction Key expires immediately.
They may also want confirmation of the secure checkout. If so you can provide them the following screenshots.
